Ashtar: An interview

My dearest brothers and sisters,

This is Ashtar speaking. I greet you in love.

Today, this channeler wanted to interview me in a more personal style.

Question: What is your role and what does it entail?

Answer: I am Ashtar. Ashtar Command is named after me. My role is to attend to Source's will and to keep my group aligned with Source's will.

That said, Source tends to not be very prescriptive. So Source's will is that this sector be made resonant in the not too distant future, which also means that Earth should be freed. However Source isn't telling me specifically which actions I should take at what time.

After all, us physically incarnated beings are Source's will in action. Source's will is not separate from us.

If there is an emergency and Ashtar Command needs to make a decision immediately, then I am the one who makes that decision.

That said, this rarely happens in practice, because we have plans for just about any future scenario that has some chance of happening.

So if a certain thing happens, then it's unlikely that I need to make an emergency decision. It's far more likely that the plan for that situation just gets implemented.

We're typically not so much wondering what is going to happen, and more wondering which free-will choices Earth humans are going to make, which will lead to a corresponding scenario unfolding.

Most of the time we're not in an emergency. And then decisions and plans are made by a council of decision-makers from various races. This council includes myself.

This is organisationally better than having a sole ruler because what if your sole ruler becomes sick or gets overworked or dies? There's a reason why on your world rule by one person isn't considered to be a good form of government.

Also, everyone has flaws and biases and distortions and blind spots. Hence if you give the sole rule to one person, then he or she will chart a course that is just slightly off. Even if he or she has the best of intentions.

On your world that might mean that you steer in a slightly wrong direction for let's say 60 years, before the ruler dies and someone else corrects the course. But if I had the sole rule, I might steer in a slightly incorrect direction for a millennium. And if you steer in a slightly wrong direction for a thousand years, then you end up completely off course.

So especially with our long lifespans, rule by a single person just isn't a good form of government.

While it's tragic and while it has clear disadvantages, your society is actually constantly pushed forward by the fact that people with old viewpoints just die after let's say 80 years. We don't have that, and one way we mitigate that is by occasionally bringing relatively young people on the council, and telling older people on the council that retiring is an option.

I also make an active effort to try and understand the culture of our young adults. So you can picture me awkwardly opening up our (much healthier) version of tik tok and trying to understand what the young people are talking about, and what their slang even means.

I'm also doing my best to be as aware as I can be as to what life is like for Earth humans.

So in non-emergencies, Ashtar command is led by a council of decision-makers from various races.

This council of decision-makers votes on decisions, and our voting is weighed by level of consciousness. Of the people in that council, I have the highest level of consciousness and therefore the most voting power. So you could say I am first among equals in that group.

Because of this, I also function as a spokesperson and as a metaphorical face for the organization. If many galactics disagree with our decision then I'm the one who probably has to have that tough public conversation.

If most of those people in the council of decision-makers vote in another direction than myself, then their will happens and mine doesn't. In that case I would have no mechanism to force through my own will, even if I wanted to.

Well, I guess in extreme situations I could make a case why certain people should be removed from the council or disallowed from voting on certain topics, but that is very rare and I would have to convince people of that necessity. I can't just unilaterally do that. Also, others could use that mechanism against me as well.

I don't actually think of myself as having a particularly high level of consciousness, because I talk all the time to non-physical beings who are often much wiser than myself.

In one sense, it's not so much that I'm particularly wise. It's more that I'm just abnormally late in making the switch to non-physical existence. Most beings make that switch at a lower level of consciousness than myself, and indeed I too could have become non-physical a long time ago, but I chose to not yet do that.

Part of me just loves physical existence, and a part of me feels an urge to keep helping people. Even though another part of me understands the higher perspective that I could spend eternity trying to so-called fix physical existence, and someone who tries to do that actually misses the point of physical existence.

But for now I'm still attached to being physical and helping out other physical people. If I was less attached, I'd be non-physical right now, and someone else would head Ashtar Command, and indeed you'd know Ashtar Command by another name.

That said, it's not just that I enjoy physical existence and that I feel an urge to help people. It's also that in my current particular role, I'm Source's will in action, as are you, and we're helping implement Source's will of making sure that Earth is freed.

So for the moment, my position feels in alignment for me.

Sometimes it feels like everyone who is still a physical being is not wise enough to make decisions, yet everyone who is non-physical is too out-of-touch with physical reality to make decisions.

I guess everyone is flawed in their own way, and that's okay -- and the beings who could be argued to not have flaws are so high-consciousness that it doesn't matter to them if Earth is freed this year or a century from now.

To be clear, when Earth is freed does matter to us, and we're the ones making the decision. I maintain Hakann's statement that it's likely, although not guaranteed, that this year your lives will improve substantially and you'll physically meet us, whether in public or privately. There's a chance that won't happen this year, but then it'll happen within a few years.

Aside from that:

Intergalactic diplomacy and coordination is a large part of my job, because different races can be drastically different from each other. Even other races within the galactic confederation may have different outlooks.

To join the galactic confederation, you need to be non-destructive and make a relatively small periodic contribution to the galactic confederation (for example sending some doctors to help out another race). But there's no requirement that you need to be actually altruistic. Sure, many galactic confederation members are altruistic, but that's not a requirement for joining.

There are races out there who are self-interested and rational, and they joined the galactic confederation because they correctly understand that this is a net benefit to them, even at the cost, as they might see it, of not being able to engage in destructive acts anymore. Common security and technology sharing and mutual help are great benefits to all galactic confederation members, after all.

Because of this, there are galactic confederation members who are selfish, but who understand that it's in their self-interest to be non-destructive and make their contributions. In this way, you could see the galactic confederation as a mechanism that makes it rational for even self-interested beings to become peaceful and cooperative.

From the perspective of reptilians, the galactic confederation is like a disease that infects perfectly fine selfish races and causes them to start working together peacefully.

The galactic confederation works quite well, but it does require a lot of diplomacy and coordination. If I said to certain galactic confederation members "Earth people need help", some of them would make a diplomatic reply that would boil down to: "so what? What's in it for us to help them?"

Though many races are freely helping you.

That said, being part of a unity tends to nudge people into unity consciousness and altruism over time. Many of the galactic confederation races, including the ones you've already heard about, often are genuinely altruistic. And some others are becoming more altruistic and unity-conscious over time. Personally, I see the galactic confederation as a mechanism for offering people a path towards reunion with Source.

Question: What do you personally enjoy doing?

Answer: I enjoy being, and I enjoy doing pretty much anything. Just existing and acting is pleasurable to me. At a certain level of consciousness it doesn't matter that much what specifically it is that you're doing.

If I was the type of person to enjoy being more than I enjoyed doing things, then I probably would have moved on from physicality some time ago. I like doing things, for better or worse.

My current role has also been interesting. In a way, I am sort of a middle manager.

I don't have a boss who gives me specific direct orders -- I adhere to Source's will, but Source doesn't precisely tell me what to do.

However, I would be a fool if I didn't listen to higher-consciousness beings, who are "above" me in terms of consciousness and wisdom.

On your world it's sometimes said that if an organization breaks, it breaks in the middle. Upper management (wise non-physical beings) have a certain idea, and the reality on the ground and reality for the people at the bottom is often quite different. And it's not always easy for the middle managers such as myself to keep those two things sufficiently aligned.

Indeed, middle management can get criticism from both the bottom and the top, because the bottom and the top have often wildly different perspectives.

In my case, many Earth humans want us galactics to land today. On the other hand, a lot of non-physical beings tend to primarily see the huge amount of soul growth that is being achieved on Earth and the completely unique experiences that are being had, and they don't tend to advocate for a rapid intervention by us galactics.

So on a given day, I might first download into my brain a heart-wrenching plea from an Earth human asking for immediate intervention. And then an Earth minute later a non-physical Pleiadian master who is much wiser than myself talks to me about the importance of free will and soul growth and not taking away people's lessons.

Because aren't painful experiences also just experiences?

Aren't some of the Earth people who are in very tough situations right now, simply not just refusing to learn their lesson, or refusing to observe and release the deep-rooted pain inside them? Aren't they over-identifying with their bodies?

You might feel like you have one foot in the galactic realm and one foot on Earth. I feel I have one foot in physical reality and one foot in non-physical reality. As above, so below.

But maybe I'm going too much into my work again.

I love spending time with my family. I have a pretty normal family life, but I couldn't be happier about that. If you're empty enough to enjoy conventional things, then conventional things can be wonderful.

While it's often heart-wrenching to look at Earth, I also see the moments where Earth humans are kind to each other. And that inspires me and makes me happy. It's wonderful that people are so inherently light-filled that many of them act in resonance even in such darkness. It's like they're playing a clear and beautiful melody among the discordant notes all around you.

Sometimes I wish everyone was just happy and kind to each other. But then again, if I spend a day just relaxing and doing nice things, then I enjoy that but I do feel an itch and a yearning in my soul to do more, to explore more, to get soul expansion and to help others more. So I understand why the universe hasn't been created to just be uniformly nice.

I love life and want to taste more of it. I'm not specifically married to doing one particular activity, but I do want to do something. I guess humans just always want to see the next horizon.

Question: What do you think Earth human's primary illusions are?

Answer: That they're alone.

I understand why it seems that way to you, but if you could clearly perceive the unseen realms, you might feel overwhelmed with love and support.

Another illusion is that people think they're a body and a brain. Even those who rationally understand that they're a soul, or that they're Source, often haven't truly integrated that. A lot of suffering comes from that.

That healing emotionally and being at peace or in spiritual bliss is easy for others but not for them. In reality, healing emotionally and growing spiritually is just a long road, and other Earth humans often aren't very open about their struggles, while they are very open about their peak moments.

So most likely there actually isn't something wrong with you. Most likely you aren't the one person who isn't able to figure it out. It's just a long road, that's all. So keep moving forward and your life will improve. Historically that has been a slow process, but with the rising energies, it's a somewhat faster process than it used to be.

Is that less than ideal? Yes it is.

Now yes there will always be people who are more gifted and luckier than you, but then again there are also people less gifted and less lucky than you. And even if you're not the most gifted or luckiest person on Earth, that doesn't mean you can't build a decent life for yourself.

Question: What do you recommend to Earth humans?

Answer: the most important advice has been communicated already:

Whatever arises in you, observe that. (And if you don't dare observe because it hurts too much or you fear it will destabilize you, then consider visiting a psychologist or healer.)

Trust your intuition, but don't label fears or emotions as intuition. If you don't know the difference, then don't cling too tightly to one perspective and observe more.

Look inwards before you point the finger outwards.

Look inwards before you try to reshape society in a certain way.

Be kind and express love and appreciation towards others. It matters more than you might think it does.

The first key is love, and then after a certain point it becomes important to also integrate strength and wisdom.

Do some kind of spiritual practice that resonates with you. For example: breathe in deeply and slowly and think "I", then breathe out deeply and slowly and think "AM." And repeat.

Earth is crazy unfair. So especially on Earth, it's not reasonable to judge yourself against some arbitrary standard.

There's no actual basis in reality for why you would need to meet a certain standard before you're good enough.

Even if someone else is very accomplished, there's no basis in reality for why you need to be at that point too.

Judging yourself against arbitrary standards is just an echo of how you were judged against arbitrary standards as a child.

That might actually have been traumatic for you, perhaps to the point where you're still replaying that trauma by judging yourself today.

Question: How do you feel about the situation on Earth?

Answer: if I look at the situation from a high perspective, I feel good about it because overall your world is returning to the light, and that is the most important thing, and it is amazing.

Frankly, ten thousand years from now, what people will say is that it was fantastic that Earth returned to the light. Ten thousands years from now, the delay and length of the process will just be a footnote.

You can all be proud of the amazing work you've done and are doing.

However, if I look at the situation from a lower perspective, then I sometimes feel a pang of guilt.

Being spiritually advanced doesn't mean that the so-called negative things aren't there anymore.

Being spiritually advanced isn't exclusionary.

Instead being spiritually advanced means that you include everything. And it means that while the so-called negative things are still there, you don't resist them and therefore you don't suffer. And also, you have multiple perspectives that you can look at the world with.

But still, why guilt?

Well, certain mistakes have been made on our end, such as underestimating just how dark the situation on Earth was, and just how unwilling your leaders are to work for the common good even if it's in their own clear self-interest. And that has excessively dragged out this liberation process.

To be blunt, I'm very used to dealing with people who are selfish yet rational.

Basically, you deal with those people by creating a situation and incentives where it's in their rational self-interest to cooperate and behave non-destructively, and then you let them make their own choices. You don't push them too hard, because then they feel threatened and they might make the destructive choice just to spite you and assert their independence.

So the idea is to just create incentives and then back off and give them some time and let them come to the obvious conclusion that the cooperative choice is optimal even for their own self-interest.

When dealing with selfish galactic races, that approach works very well.

But this approach has proven to not work at all with your leaders.

Your leaders, from our perspective, are insane.

Even when presented with circumstances and incentives where it's very clearly in their own rational self-interest to cooperate, most of them still don't do it, because their own ego is so out of control that it doesn't let them pursue their rational self-interest.

It's strange to see people who are so captured by their own ego that they don't even have the discipline to act in their own rational self-interest.

They're metaphorically possessed by the spirit of destruction and separation.

Even for example reptilians are more rational than your leaders. With reptilians, the problem is just that they perceive a very small chance of complete galactic domination as worth pursuing, even if the overwhelming chance is that they'll fail and suffer unnecessarily. Basically they have a very weird set of priorities. They're like gamblers who are willing to put everything on the line for a small chance of a huge payout.

Whereas there is a zero percent chance that your leaders will win, and they know that, and yet they continue walking down a path towards destruction. They're so busy with trying to delay their loss of control that they don't stop and think that just delaying things doesn't help if they're guaranteed to lose in the end. Besides, it's not like they're currently enjoying their life.

But of course, it's my fault that I didn't realize this sooner.

Let me take this opportunity to formally apologize for that.

That said, this still doesn't mean we're going to land today. There are still good reasons to take certain steps and do certain operations before we land, and those take some time still.

And actually, most souls of Earth humans agree that a few steps should be taken first before we land. So we're not being paternalistic here or violating your free will. We're just heeding the advice and the wishes of the actual you, namely the souls of Earth humans.

That said, people reading this message are more likely to have souls that do want to physically meet us as soon as possible. And I empathize. But then again, you're the minority.

The situation is very complex, and all choices have lots of secondary and tertiary effects. For example, you might be tempted to say: "okay, the souls of average people want this process to go on for a bit longer. Fine. But then just beam me up."

However average people need you lightworkers and awakened people to keep the energy of the Earth somewhat stable and liveable. And if we beamed you up and then beamed you back down after a few days, you might be more miserable than before at having to live on Earth.

And not all, but a lot of the things people are struggling with actually are open invitations to learn critical lessons or do those tough things that people know they should do. So it wouldn't always be in your interest if other people simply removed you from the situation you're in.

Keep in mind that the energy of Earth is rising very rapidly, which means that taking personal action to improve your life is easier than it has ever been (at least once you stabilize yourself in the new higher energies). And society will rapidly move towards a new, higher, more peaceful and ease-filled way of life.

Question: What message do you have for the people of Earth?

Answer: you are not alone. You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned.

You will be free, and you will once again meet us, and remember.

You are fundamentally safe, because you are a reincarnating soul that can't be harmed.

We're not the hero of this story. You are. You likely have already done so much more than you are consciously aware of.

And you can do much more, especially together with other Earth humans, than you realize right now.

Your world is also much closer to the tipping point towards the light than you might realize. Aren't you sensing the energies, or seeing how much the Epstein scandal is waking people up? Aren't you noticing that even many average people have realized that people in power often aren't to be trusted?

This period too shall pass. And then we shall have a celebration and a meeting for the ages.

I see that the channeler is out of questions, and it is in resonance for me to return to my duties. I appreciated this conversation.
